Mission / Story

Born from compassion, built for sustainable care.

The more hair replacement systems I had the privilege of providing to my clients, the more deeply their transformations touched my heart. Time and time again, I witnessed women regain confidence, smile again, and begin to see themselves differently. Their journeys reminded me that hair restoration is about so much more than appearance; it can have a profound impact on a person's self-esteem, identity, and overall well-being.

Along the way, I also experienced some of the hardest moments in my career. I met clients who desperately wanted to continue wearing their hair systems but could no longer afford them due to financial hardship. I saw firsthand the sadness, depression, and overwhelming stress that accompanied the loss of something that had helped them feel like themselves again. Each time, I wished I could simply provide their hair systems at no cost.

However, I also understood that if I gave away my services to everyone in need, I would no longer be able to sustain my business. And if I no longer had a business, I would not be able to help anyone at all. I knew I needed to think differently: to find a way to serve others while creating something sustainable.

That is how the vision for the Glowing With God Fund was born.

I thought, "Why not create a nonprofit where anyone who feels led to help can contribute?" Then, as funds become available, we can provide a hair system to someone who is less fortunate and unable to afford this life-changing service on their own. Through this program, donated funds can purchase the hair system itself, while I Hair By Gena INC. donates the installation and maintenance services for one full year at no cost to the recipient.

My hope is that this gift gives each recipient the opportunity to experience what it feels like to have a full head of hair again: to look in the mirror and recognize themselves, to regain confidence, and to feel restored in ways that extend far beyond the surface. At the end of that year, they can decide whether continuing with the hair system is something they would like to pursue moving forward.

I cannot do everything, but I can do something. Through the Glowing With God Fund, my prayer is that together, as a community, we can bring hope, dignity, confidence, and restoration to those who need it most, one crown at a time.

The Crown Winner Program is intended for women experiencing hair loss who are unable to pay for a mesh integration hair system. Donations are used to purchase the hair system; installation and maintenance services are donated by Hair By Gena INC. Awards depend on eligibility, documentation, appointment availability, and funds raised.

  • Recipients must attend maintenance appointments every six weeks for one year.
  • The award cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
  • Financial, medical, and personal information is used for application review.
  • Photos and media may be requested for program and promotional use, as described in the applicant terms.

Applicant terms derived from the application packet

By applying, the applicant agrees to attend required appointments every six weeks for twelve months, follow aftercare instructions, submit true and complete information, and understand that incomplete applications may not be considered.

Submission does not guarantee selection, approval, funding, services, or participation. Selection is at the discretion of Glowing With God Fund and depends on available nonprofit funding, eligibility verification, and program availability.

If selected, the applicant voluntarily assumes risks associated with consultation, installation, maintenance, wear, and removal of a mesh integration hair system. Risks may include scalp sensitivity, allergic reaction, itching, redness, inflammation, discomfort, temporary or permanent hair breakage, thinning, shedding, traction-related hair loss, abrasions, pressure points, follicle sensitivity, damage from improper home care, unexpected cosmetic results, dissatisfaction, adjustment needs, and costs not covered by the program.

Cosmetic results vary, and no guarantee, warranty, or representation of a specific result is made. In consideration for participation, the applicant releases and holds harmless Hair By Gena INC., Glowing With God Fund, and their owners, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, contractors, successors, and assigns from claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, expenses, or causes of action related to the program to the fullest extent permitted by law.

As a condition of participation, client photos, videos, testimonials, and transformation results may be photographed, recorded, and used by Glowing With God Fund and Hair by Gena INC. for marketing, advertising, social media, website, educational, and promotional purposes.

Financial, medical, and personal information submitted with the application is kept confidential and used solely for application review. Submitted application documents may be shared with Hair By Gena INC. solely for application review and service evaluation, and are not shared with other parties except as required by law. Media content created as part of program participation may be used as outlined above.
